My in-person workshops are a day to connect with other like-minded photographers and learn how to create angles, use of light and camera settings.  I try to treat it in a similar way to my actual sessions. We might have an unsettled baby and will need to figure out how we can get the baby to settle and sleep.  This is the reality, and I am no baby whisperer, so I can't promise we will have a sleepy baby and get through 20 different poses.  

But what you will learn is how I conduct a session around real people- new parents- how to be sensitive to their needs and, like all my shoots, I work around them. Each session is treated differently depending on the needs and behaviours of each person.  We might get lucky with a very sleepy baby, and what you won't learn is how to settle and soothe them when they are unhappy.  But if we do get an unsettled baby, you will see all the techniques and tricks I use to get them into a calm state.  

The posing on the beanbag will be dependent on the newborn.  Which is why I have posing videos to watch after, in case we didn't get much of an opportunity to get a good hour of posing.  

What you will get to see is how I create the angles and where to stand to get the best composition for the images.  Once you know this and the camera settings, then it will be a matter of practising in your own time.   I am an open book and will tell you everything I know and answer your questions all day.
