Iām a self-taught photographer and had never attended a newborn or maternity workshop with another photographer before. I usually rely on my intuition and love capturing things in my own way. Still, I often feel a bit insecure because itās easy to compare yourself to others, so this felt like the perfect opportunity to learn and see if I was actually doing things right. The workshop was fantastic. I learned a lot, but I also received the confirmation that Iām on the right track, which was really reassuring. Linzie truly took her time with every photographer, even though we were a group of eight focusing on the same subject. She guided us by sharing which camera settings she would use, what angles work best, and how to handle the baby safely and gently. On top of that, she has such a wonderful, positive energy that instantly breaks the ice and makes everyone feel comfortable. Sheās incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging, which makes her workshops an absolute must for anyone who wants to grow as a photographer.
